Ordering Information

How to place an order.

Orders can be placed on our website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Do you want to email, chat or talk to a customer service representative? We welcome you to contact our customer service department to talk with our knowledgeable customer service representatives.

Payment Options

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card and PayPal. All prices listed on are in US Dollars (USD). Debit cards are welcome but before making any large purchase, you may want to check with your card issuer to make sure you do not exceed your card’s daily or transactional limit. Please contact our team sales department at 714-331-7513 for all purchase order inquiries.

We are unable to accept multiple payment methods for a single order through our website. If you need to use more than one payment method, consider splitting the items you desire in to separate orders. Charges drawn on international accounts may be subject to foreign transactions fees; these are not charged by and may be in addition to the grand total of your order.

Order Verification

All orders placed through are subject to our verification process for order accuracy and authorized valid payment. For security reasons, we may contact you via email or phone requesting additional information to validate your order.

To safeguard against fraudulent activity, must verify the bill to and ship to address. Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and phone number (the address and phone number your credit card issuer has on file). Incorrect information will cause a delay in the processing time of your order.

If your shipping address is different than your billing address (where you receive your credit card statement), please call your credit card issuer to make them aware of the shipping address. Informing your credit card issuer about your shipping address will not change any existing billing information; it will be temporarily listed in the banks memo field for purchase verification only. Please recognize that calling your credit card issuer about an address notification may not only be necessary, but it will also speed up the verification process.

If your selected payment method is PayPal, we will ship your order to a PayPal confirmed address only. A PayPal confirmed address is an address that has been reviewed by PayPal and found to be safe based on information related to the address. For example, a credit card billing address is confirmed because PayPal can check that the address is the same as the address on file at the credit card company.

Order Confirmation

A confirmation displaying an order number will appear on the checkout page immediately after your order is submitted. If an order confirmation did not appear after the final submit button, we may have received your order, but communication from our server to your computer was interrupted. Please contact our customer service to verify if your order had been received.

You will also receive an order confirmation via email after completing your order online or by phone. An email address is required so that we may keep you informed on the status of your order. Please recognize that your ISP or email client may have a filter that is preventing the email confirmation from getting through to you. Please check your Junk Mail folder and/or turn off your Spam Filter to allow e-mail from

We will never share your email address with an unrelated 3rd party except as necessary to fulfill transactions that you initiate.

Ordering Processing Time

It may take approximately one or two business days to process an order before it ships, provided that the merchandise is in stock and that we are able to complete the address verification and payment process. The estimated time of arrival is determined by the chosen method of shipping and the carrier's local delivery guidelines.  Express orders placed after 1:00 PM Central on a Friday will ship the following Monday. Orders containing customized products will be held until the custom product has been made. Please allow 1 business day to process orders for E-Gift Certificates.

Order Status and Tracking

A shipping confirmation email including carrier-specific tracking information will typically be sent within 24 hours of item shipping. For example, if you place an order Monday night and it ships out Tuesday morning, you will receive your tracking information either Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning. Most orders will be shipped UPS, however, we do utilize USPS for some cases.

Order Changes and Cancellations

Need to make changes to your order? We are happy to help. You have 1 hour to change or cancel your order during normal business hours. Once your order status has been updated to "Processed" it cannot be cancelled.

We are unable to reinstate an order once it has been cancelled. You may place a new order, subject to our current availability and pricing.

Shipping Address Changes

For the security of our customers, we are unable to make changes to shipping addresses and all shipments must be sent to an authorized cardholder address. If you need to change an address, you may cancel the existing order if it hasn't been processed for shipping; and then place a new order with the correct shipping address.

Most couriers allow you the ability to have a package held at a local customer center. This can usually be arranged online through the couriers' website. Not all shipments are eligible for this service and it is controlled by the shipping courier. Please contact the courier directly to arrange for this service.

Drop Shipping

In some circumstances will arrange for the item to be shipped directly from our source in order to help you avoid a longer wait time e.g. special order item, or in the unusual event that a backordered item is not expected to arrive at our warehouse within a reasonable time. In some cases, delivery by signature confirmation may be required.

International Orders accepts orders from and ships orders to anywhere in the world. Please note that due to restrictions set by the manufacturers we may be unable to ship certain brands outside of the United States. All prices listed on are in US Dollars (USD). Charges drawn on international accounts may be subject to foreign transactions fees; these are not charged by and may be in addition to the grand total of your order.

Pricing Error: Despite our best efforts to advertise prices appropriately, some items may be advertised incorrectly due to a typographical error. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for an item that was priced incorrectly, whether it has been confirmed, charged, and even shipped. If an order is refused after it was shipped due to a pricing error, we may issue a charge to reconcile the price difference or request an intercept from the shipping carrier. The pricing posted on our website may not always be identical to those found on some price comparison shopping websites. 


In accordance with applicable state and local laws, we are required to charge sales tax in area's where operates. does not benefit from the collection of sales tax and we remit all taxes collected directly to the appropriate taxing jurisdiction. As a general rule, it is the laws of the state of delivery that determine whether sales tax will be due on your transaction. The terms contained herein are subject to change as the taxation of online transactions is continually evolving. strives to comply with state and local tax laws as they exist currently and continues to monitor and update its taxation policies as those laws change. Additionally, some states require that sales tax be collected on shipping and handling charges. The purchase of e-gift certificates are not subject to taxation.

International shipments are generally subject to local import duties and taxes. We are not responsible for, nor can offer any specific advice regarding any customs related fees that you may incur. For specific information, please consult with your local government import office.

Shipping Information

Standard Shipping Information

Standard Shipping is available to all locations within the 48 contiguous United States. Standard Shipping Orders are typically processed within 48 hours. To expedite the shipping process and minimize delays, please ensure that all supplied billing information is accurate, and that alternate delivery address is on file with your bank or credit card company.

The merchandise you order may be fulfilled from several locations, which may cause items to arrive separately. You will not incur additional shipping charges under these circumstances. We are not responsible for shipping delays due to inclement weather and we do not issue refunds for shipping costs if a delivery date is missed.

Express Shipping Information

We understand that when you place an order, you want your gear as quickly as possible and we will do our best to make that happen! Most of the items we sell will ship quickly and be at your door fast. While we will do our best to ship from our main distribution center to you, not all items will ship from there. In some cases, we will split the order and ship each package out to you individually. In other cases, we may need to consolidate the items in one location to ship out as one package. We utilize our best judgment to get the products to you as quickly as possible. You will not incur additional shipping charges under these circumstances.

United States Postal Service

If the destination address is a PO Box or an APO/FPO, your order will ship via USPS. We will provide tracking information via email after your order has shipped. Items delivered to a PO Box or an APO/FPO will be delivered in approximately 7 to 10 business days. Final delivery for APO/FPO destinations will be subject to the terms and conditions of the APO/FPO services. Not all items can be shipped via USPS. Some items that are shipped via USPS may be subject to an additional shipping charge. If necessary, will contact you before the order is processed.

International Shipping is more than happy to ship orders to foreign countries but please keep in mind that we are unable to ship some brands outside of the United States due to manufacturer restrictions. Transit times vary by destination, but they are typically between 3 and 5 business days. International orders typically ship the next business day if all items are in stock and the payment has been processed. 

Understand that all customs duties, taxes, surcharges, etc, are the responsibility of the customer. When delivery is attempted, you may be billed for these fees; these fees are independent of shipping charges and are charged by your local mail authority – not USA Skates. Please familiarize yourself with your country's import rules and regulations prior to ordering. We are unable to designate orders as "Gifts"or “Free” or otherwise on Customs Declaration Forms. Orders to some countries (including Russia) can only be sent via United States Postal Service.

If you refuse a package at customs, customs will either destroy it or send it back to us, USA Skates has no control over this. If the shipment is destroyed by customs, your order will not be eligible for a refund. If the shipment is returned undamaged, the order will be eligible for a refund after deducting the cost of shipping in both directions.

General Shipping Information

Order Pick-Ups: Orders leaving USA Skates are picked up Tuesday through Fridays only. Typically, orders placed by 1:00 PM Central will ship the next day provided that all items are in stock and the shipping and billing information has been verified.

Holidays: Orders are not picked up on the following holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

In Store Pick Up

While we don’t offer In Store Pick-Up for online orders, you may shop our retail store in Westminster CA, which is inside The Rinks Westminster Ice. Items not available on the floor can ordered in store.

Oversized Shipping Charges

Some products on may be subject to oversized shipping fees. Typically, wheeled equipment bags, equipment racks. These fees are in addition to the cost of shipping. Some oversized products shipped via an Express shipping method may require an extra day for delivery.

Non Deliverable Addresses

Due to courier limitations, we are unable to deliver to Post Office Boxes via UPS. Orders placed with a P.O. Box address will be shipped using United States Postal Service.

Delivery Attempts

Typically, packages will be left at your door and do not require a signature. Some orders are drop shipped directly from the vendor, and those vendors may require a signature on their shipments. If you would like signature required added to your order, please contact us 714-331-7513 or via email when placing your order.

Orders with Signature Confirmation: The shipping courier will make two attempts to deliver your merchandise and will leave a door tags notifying you of the attempt. If the package is deemed undeliverable after the third attempt, the product will be returned to USA Skates. You will be credited for the price of the merchandise minus the actual cost of shipping and the cost of return shipping. All credits will be applied to the original payment method.

Most couriers allow you the ability to have a package held at a local customer center. This can usually be arranged online through the couriers' website. If the package is deemed undeliverable the shipment will be treated as a refused delivery.

Return Information

Return Policy

We will gladly accept returns of product from your order for up to 10 days after you receive your order, customers must call or email and receive a return authorization number, after the 10 day period we will not take any returns.  All items must be in original condition, including the box and all accessories and packaging.  We do not accept skates that have been sharpened and or skated on for any kind of return. Any defects should be dealt with directly from the manufacturer of the products. Please make sure the items you wish to return meet this criteria prior to initiating a return. 

Please note that our Return Policy applies, only items eligible for a return may be returned for a refund or store credit. It may take 5-10 days for a return to be received, inspected and processed.

How to Return Merchandise

Returns must be made 10 Days from date of receiving the product. 

Product must be unused and in original condition with original box. 

Ship return in a brown box, with no labels or markings on original box.

Once we receive your package, please allow 5-10 days for us to inspect, approve and process the return.

Restocking Fee

10% restock fee may be charged on all boots and skates returned to USA Skates. If you purchase multiple sizes of the same product (i.e. skates in 5.5B, 6B & 6.5B) and choose to return some or all products, you will be responsible for a 10% restocking. 

Non Returnable Items

Items that are purchased on Clearance are final sale and non returnable.  All skating tights and socks are final sale and non returnable due to sanitary reasons. Please make sure you have the correct item before purchasing.

Items Not Eligible for Return

Although we have a very flexible return policy on most of the items we sell, there are some exceptions. The following items may not be returned under any circumstances:

  • - Products sold as new and used by the customer
  • - Sharpened or Baked Skates - Do not sharpen or bake skates until you are certain they fit correctly
  • - Jocks & Undergarments - Due to the personal nature of the product
  • - Mouthguards - Due to hygenic reasons/ unless box unopened and factory is sealed
  • - Special Orders, Custom Orders, Team Orders or other Special Accommodations
  • - Customized Products - This includes jerseys with personalization
  • - Clearance Items, they are final sale.
  • - Skating tights and socks - Due to hygenic reasons
  • - Demo Products and Items Sold as Used

Most manufacturers provide warranty services for defective products, directly. 

Return Shipping

Return shipping cost (the cost to send an item back to our warehouse) we do not reimburse any return shipping cost.


If you purchased a product from us that you wish to exchange for an alternative, you can return the item for a refund or store credit and simply place a new order for the item you desire. A refund cannot be applied to a new purchase.

Refunds and Store Credit

Please view our Return Policy for a list of what is considered ineligible for Return. Refunds do not apply to the cost of shipping or oversized handling charges. The customer is responsible for the actual price of shipping even if the shipping was free or discounted. In some cases, the actual price of shipping may exceed the amount originally charged for shipping, the difference in shipping cost may be deducted from any refund. Refunds are applied to the payment method used at the time of purchase 5-10 days after the returned merchandise has been received, inspected and processed.

Defective Items

An item that was discovered to be defective upon receipt can be replaced or returned for a full refund if the item hasn't been used. Please contact customer service within 48 hours of receipt so we may arrange for a replacement or return shipping. Replacement product will be shipped free of charge.

Items that are deemed defective after use, are subject to the terms of a brands warranty coverage, if eligible.

Refuse Delivery

If you refuse delivery, a credit will be issued for the price of the merchandise minus the actual cost of shipping and the cost of return shipping. All credits will be applied to the original payment method.

Missing Items

While we will do our best to ship from our store to you, not all items will ship from there. In some cases, we will split the order and ship each package out to you individually. This may prompt a customer to think an item is missing from their shipment. Prior to contacting us regarding missing items, please cross check the items on the packing slip with the items in the shipment. Verify that you didn't receive an out of stock email, informing you that an item or items were out of stock. If you think an item is missing from your shipment, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Damaged and Lost Items

All Packages are inspected for damage before they ship from our warehouse. If your package has been damaged in transit, please contact us immediately. We must be informed of all shipping related claims within 48 hours after the package was received. Shipping Claims are handled directly by on your behalf. To help us speed up the process of resolving your claim, please provide pictures of the damaged packaging, shipping label and products.

Should your package be deemed Lost in Transit, please contact us immediately so we may assist you in arranging for replacement product or a refund.

Please allow 1 to 8 days for the processing of claims for lost U.P.S shipments and up to 40 days for lost U.S.P.S shipments.

Warranty Information

General Warranty Information

If a product is covered by this warranty USA Skates will repair at our own discretion using new or refurbished components, or if a repair is not possible - issue a replacement. This warranty covers defects in manufacturing discovered while using the product as recommended by the manufacturer within 30 days. The warranty does not cover lost or stolen items, nor does coverage extend to damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modification, or improper storage conditions. The warranty does not cover parts that are subject to normal wear and tear (i.e. skate wheels, bearings, steel, etc.)

Items designated as Pro-Stock are not covered by any warranty; this includes but is not limited to Skates, Gloves, Pants, Sticks, Shafts, Helmets or Replacement Blades.

Hockey Stick Warranty Information

If a composite hockey stick/shaft is broken due to a manufacturing defect, within 30 days of being ordered, it may be eligible for replacement. In most cases, replacements are handled by the manufacturer directly. This warranty does not extend to pro stock: hockey sticks, shafts or replacement blades. An original proof of purchase is required for warranty. Once an exchange is authorized by the manufacturer, it will be necessary for the customer to mail, at their expense, the broken stick or shaft. Once received, if the broken stick or shaft is deemed to be defective due to manufacturing defect, a replacement will be sent at the manufacturer's expense and the broken merchandise becomes the property of the manufacturer. Promotion Codes

Promotion codes are entered prior to checkout and are either applied to the item while in the shopping bag or at the conclusion of the checkout process. Some offers have an expiration while others are available for a limited time, offers are subject to change or end at any time.

Offers cannot be applied to orders already placed with and cannot be redeemed for cash. If the terms of a promotion have become invalidated through the return of merchandise, the refund or store credit may be adjusted to reflect any unearned discount. For example, if a customer purchased two products during a Buy 1, Get 1 50% Off promotion and decided to return one product, the original requirements for the promotion wouldn’t be met.
