Sure Grip Rebel Boot

I was impressed with the build quality of these boots. The fact they are constructed of leather instead of a vinyl material means they will last longer under normal use. I did find two issues I had not expected, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. These two issues are: 1 - The boot shoes were attached to the sole with elastic straps. Since I intended to mount plates to these boots, it was necessary to cut the straps to enable full access to the inner sole. 2 - I found 4 partially drilled holes drilled in the bottom of the soles. Perhaps these were intended to assist in plate alignment but they nearly interfered with the position I selected for proper plate mounting.
